Thanks JC... Always thought JOB could make a good wing back with his work rate and ability to work both ways. Sems like Reuben is finally coming of age too. Great news.

J'OB did a much better job defensively than usual. Made countless tackles.

One fantastic run from RNL in the first half before shooting wide. Very promising.

O'Brien up against Brady did a very good defensive job.

Very advanced, I didn't work out our formation til ten minutes in. I'm not the brightest though. Another positive one from Reuben, good to see after his poor one at Forest. Jim was his usual erratic half a second behind most things, but held his ground and improved second half with some encouraging words from yours truly in the lower west stand. The beard's back too, which worked well for him last time.

Both were quality, but Reuben more so. He gave a great impression of Scott Golbourne, but with better attacking purpose.

O'Brien surprised me. Only got done once or twice, and was as good as I've seen him going forward in a long time.

    Reuben - 9/10

    Jimbo - 7/10

RNL was fine, although sometimes tried to do the complicated rather than the simple.

Jimbob struggled at first to contain Robbie Brady, but then, he is a class player. But, as game went on, Jimbo got to grips with the situation.

    Thought they both played well.

O'brien was the more just do his job really. Did it well too against Brady.

With Reuben last week i didn't understand all the comments about him not showing anything on the pitch. He's got everything. people suggesting he was slow, he's not. he went past players easily yesterday. people suggesting he wasn't strong enough, again not true.

For me he's the only player for Barnsley that's as talented has mellis out on the field yesterday.
