How do I go about ripping a DVD onto my computer?

    dvd fab....does the lot, need to get the cracked version
    or if you just want it on pc, use dvd decrypter,thats free

    ..rent some DVDs from Blockbusters, and stick 'em onto computer?

    erm....no, i dont do that :D

    if you just use the dvd decrypter, you still got to shrink the movie to fit on a dvd,
    if you get dvd fab, that rips,shrinks and burns it, plus its easy to cut all the crap out to improve the quality

    Im not thinking about putting them back onto a DVD, just to keep on the computer.

    Just wondered if they had something on 'em that meant you couldnt copy, from Blockbuster etc.

    they have, thats what dvd decrypter takes off,
    hope you got a big hard drive if you keeping on pc?
    a typical film will be 7gb!
    for a few pence, you can have it on dvd
