Exactly what we need like he was on Thursday or not the kind of player we want at our club like he was on Friday?

Can't wait for the end of season

When he's notched 15 goals, we're top half and then he signs for Sheff Utd.

    Bit of both

He was excellent last season and has been poor this season

The fact that he has only signed on loan suggests that his primary concern is the ££££

If he can get 7 or 8 goals I would be very happy with that

Too short! Decent signing though, especially on loan. Had to laugh at Radio Sheffield this morning, who reckoned he wanted £20k a week to sign for us.

I wonder why Coventry have let him out on loan

They were obviously hoping to get some money for him in the January transfer window as he can go on a free in the summer. I guess we must have paid them something for the loan.

Coleman sounded like he wanted him out at any price

I imagine we have, although it doesn't say with a view to a permanent deal or owt. </p>

Just don't be surprised if he goes elsewhere after this loan. Not knocking him, because if he does well for us and some other club offers him better money than we can then he has to look after himself. I suppose this loan deal was the best compromise to suit all 3 parties concerned as things stand currently.

    A loan fee

    Is standard custom and practice.
