Please don't suggest sacking the manager at 41 games, I'm not saying I'm pro Collins but seriously you couldn't bring anyone in at this stage.
Thought Mcatee looked better coming in off the left and Jalo on the right side go 433 for me, Cole is a massive issue at present, he's missing chances now that he was finishing with his eyes closed 3/4 months ago.

I think formation isn't the key, it's mindset, energy and pace. Our build up is slow and our defending is slow and risky with passes going across the back line. Why not play it forward down the line or through the centre, and...why not take a man on. I'm so fed up of seeing players go on a good run forward then stop and pass back when confronted by a defender.

Having strikers that look like Sunday league players isn’t helping

Our width is non existent, when we play it forward quickly into wide areas it means 1 of the front 2 have to drift wide leaving us 1 striker vs 2 CB's.
The only way we can build from wide areas is getting the wing backs forward and that's why we build slow from the back giving them time to push up.
I'd say formation is definitely part of the problem.

Cole is a confidence player, and is certainly running on empty at the minute. With it unlikely he'll be here next season, I don't think I'd be starting him.

Tend to agree Archey, we looked very lacklustre in that 2nd half and Cole more than others.

Not even sure I would have him in the squad at the moment. Unfortunately as we didn’t manage to strengthen upfront in Jan its unfortunately come back to bite us with Cole’s form dropping off a cliff edge and none of the strikers we have not being able to offer any serious competition.

We need to get two wins from next two games as I don’t fancy us getting anything from last three games

Seriously think I would consider starting Watters ( I don’t rate him btw) up front with Mcatee, Cosgrove shows no sign of being a footballer, folk talk about Cole being away at the end of the season but he’s so erratic can’t see there being a queue of suitors !
He might not even be that bothered about going anyway, he’s tried moving in the past and we are the nearest he has come to being a success at!

I agree, he is a confidence player - as are most strikers to be honest. But if we reach the playoffs and I still think we will btw, to stand any chance at all I think we have to have a striker on-form and scoring. I don't think that's Cosgrove, nor Jalo and whilst McAtee might grab a goal he's hardly prolific. I think Collins will stick with Cole and hope he somehow gets a goal that sets him off on a scoring run again. Not getting another one in in the January window is proving costly now.

ho hay ho hay ho hay.

And feel free to call me an Happy clapper. I'm just a fan, happy when we win, gutted when we lose. And yes I have shown my disapproval when we lose one more than one occasion
