front toe of left foot to front toe of right foot, or front toe of left foot to heel of right foot? So, Toe to toe or toe to heel?

Walk a decent distance and count your strides.

Now then. Was watching some archaeology bird measuring a dinosaur's stride. She did it from heel of back foot to heel of front foot.

    On TV. I wasn't in a field stalking paeleontologists (sp x 10)

    Excellent thanks lads

I'm now confused between my step length and my stride length but it's a step in the right direction (pffffft!)

Have you bought one of those foot pods for measuring your running speed and distance ?

A search on google should narrow things down for you. Sorry I can't help more.
