We could either start cautious a la Cardiff and Palace away and wait for news from Selhurst Park to filter through or just go for it and forget about the Peterborough game. Likewise, I wonder how Huddersfield will approach it - they have switched to 4-4-2 in their last two games with success. Prior to this their fans were berating Robins for his unadventurous 4-5-1.
i'm expecting us to be positive and go 3-5-2. this is the last throw of the dice. a point might not be enough, and any negativity will only play to their strengths. you may well see this change throughout the game, if other results are heavily in our favour. but i'm expecting us to go for the throat, straight from kick off
I think that's right and I think that suits us better. If we go for the win, we have more chance of the draw, which might keep us up. Or I might be talking ********.
We've got to assume the others will win...it then leaves us 90 plus mins to get a win,I think we'll need to use all the 90plus
a start and result just like this one please
Same team, same formation, same tactics as on Saturday. We murdered Hull like that and we've proved we're more than a match for any team. Only changes for me would be Delap and Dawson on the bench.
Re: I agree Hopefully exact same as Saturday, team and formation. Then have a right go at them. Cants see them playing for a draw either so should be an open game
Re: I agree I'd go with the same starting eleven/tactics as we went with against Hull. We can't rely on anybody else. We've got to go and get three points.
Re: I agree 3-5-2 makes even more sense because we are short of defenders without Sir Bob and Fozzy, plus McNulty and Delap are just back from injury. Kennedy, Wiseman and Cranie are looking solid at the moment and we have plenty of fit players to fill the other positions so I'd definitely leave things as they were on Saturday. If we can repeat that level of performance we will win, no doubt about it, the only question is whether we can do so.
