Posting from Singapore. Just got on t'net abnd seen the score. Wayhey! I've slept 4 hours since Friday (and I'm in the same clothes). Yet another sleepless night in prospect tonight too. I'll not be doing this journey too often. I'm too big to get comfy on the plane and if I do manage to nod off, the missus wakes me because I start snoring. Singapore is like a sauna too. Like nowt I've come across before.
Don't forget to go to Sentosa mate and call at Raffles for a Singapore sling. But watch the nut shells on the floor.
Get down to Little India and sample some of the amazing food down there - there are also beer bars there too.
I had a blinding cold when I got there, left the airport and bang, the heat/humidity combination nearly floored me. I panicked for a minute thinking I might actually suffocate there, but you do get used to it after a couple of days. I agree it's like nowhere I'd been before (or since) for the humidity, it's like breathing the steam from a kettle!
Finally arrived in Adelaide yesterday Slept from 4pm straight through to this morning, catching up on all the sleep. The hire "car" turned out to be a people carrier the size of a minibus. Still, everything is enormous here. I can't get over how cheap the meat is. I forecast I'll be putting even more weight on. No sign of any giant spiders yet.
How long were you in Singapore.

We could have met up for a beer.

Mate the last few days have been pretty mild , its the coolest its been since I got here in June.

Mild??? You must have done some serious acclimatisation. You'll freeze solid when you go back to the UK. We were only there for a day so we just took shelter in that air-conditioned mall. It's chuffin spitting here in Adelaide. Init marvellous.
