But, to what standard do you have to prepare? The theory test will be a breeze and I'd do it tomorrow if I could. But the practical side...it's been a while since I've driven and now I've decided I want my licence, just wondering how hard it is these days.
It`s easier these days to pass I used to be a driving instructor taught my wife and daughter to drive from scratch and both passed first time. Best advice I can give you is don`t worry if you make a mistake as long as you correct it ,examiners are not there to fail you but to see that you are in full control of the vehicle at all times.
Thank you, I've already been through the 2 wheel test. Plus, I used to drive round Castle Combe Race Circuit, Wiltshire, plus a few airfields and on the road a few times with my provisional. So that experience along with my road experience on the bike should help. Went for a drive earlier, and it was unreal how much comfort and control I had, considering it was the first time I'd driven in quite a few months. It was as if I'd never stopped driving.
Make sure you are familiar with the car you are taking the test in have practice for an hour before the test, after the test pass or fail let somebody else drive you home and have a cup of tea before you get behind the wheel again, best wishes to you .(Y)
Thank you for taking the time out to give me a few hints and tips. When I passed my bike test I rode home, because I was using my own bike, and it was very wet and slippy. Went round a corner slightly too fast due to the adrenaline of passing and the back wheel nearly overtook me, that certainly calmed me down.
RE: well, guesty, it is not easy, till you have done it there is only one thing you have to do just show, whoever is in the passenger street how good you are, keep your gob shut, do every thing right, then when its over if you pass or fail go to the mountain top and SCREAM............
