All I can hear is a Radio Sheffield commentator who seems delighted we're losing 3-1

I wish. I much prefer the Barnsley Commentators than Sheff Utd Commentators. So yes i do prefer Proper ones.

I agree with the OP if he/she is saying Ox is a good commentator - he is indeed top notch. If he/she is trying to say Adam Brammer and myself aren't proper broadcasters because we aren't BBC trained then he/she is obviously having a laugh.

No sorry mate much prefer you 2, it was by way of a bit of a private joke for a mate, should have thought it through, sorry! It was a decent commentary though.

Ah...no worries and apology accepted, although unnecessary. Very difficult job one man comms, hope to be helping Adam out at quite a few away games this season and doing TV style full match replay comm for majority of home games.

Ah, irony shields must have been up! No disrespect to what the chap does, he has a given agenda, but he's not a Reds fan, it's just a job to him, not a passion. Sooner we go back to how it was, the better.. :)

I actually prefer the more 'professional' commentary with just a hint of bias but still quite objective. Paul Walker is one of the best at this, he manages to be professional and impartial in his commentary whilst also getting over the fact that he is clearly interested in the club and shows bias when we score. Most of the other radio Sheffield lot are nowhere near his quality though in my opinion.

Though I prefer that style I completely understand why many others prefer Matt's completely biased fan style commentary and I admit that at times I enjoy hearing it as you get more of a feel for how well we are playing rather than the radio Sheffield style which explains what's happening but maybe not how well.

Wouldn't it be nice if in 2016 there was some way to offer fans an option of two different commentaries?
