Not only has he got us results with style, but he has forged a togetherness from the team to the fans that reflects his passion for the club. He gets what it is to watch Barnsley and represent the town. He doesn't want success for his CV or so that others higher up the food chain know how good he is, but so that the people he cares about can go to work Monday morning with a smile on their face because they've had a cracking weekend watching their team and celebrating a win. Let's not forget how special and rare it is to have an owner and manager who are local men and spent their childhood watching games at Oakwell. Added to that, men who are doing things that are working. I don't want any of that to change, and even if we go back to struggling in the Championship, I hope we stick with this bunch and Hecky for a long time to come. However the club is doing, I don't think we could have any other people in charge who it means more to, and who are more committed.
Yep and let's hope we remember this when, if things aren't going too well, we should give him time and to be fair I think the vast majority will tbh.
