I don't think that he loves the club anymore than other players but I think he loves football. He desperatly wanted to be in the final for himself not for barnsley but whilever he's playing for us then the end result is the same so its good
For The None Barnsley Supporting Players It's Just A Job Yes they want to win, yes they want to do well and yes Brian crying shows passion and emotion. But lets not kid ourselves that this so called "love" will keep them here should a better offer come forward.
i could have sworn i saw mcphail light a cigar up at one point on the pitch. had howard in his pocket unfortunately. which is why we lost. :'(
Disagree I doubt it would be purely selfish reasons. You'd have to have a heart of stone if you didn't want to win it for your team mates and the fans.
Jesus He's our leading goal scorer, our one and only threat and who has run his blood to water every game this season. Who does everyone think he is? Cardiff knew he was the danger man so made sure they limited his influence but he still tried and tried to make an impact. I remember people slagging off Niel Redfearn as well even when was scoring 10 to 20 goals a season. Nobody realised how good he was until he left. Howard is the nearest thing we've had to him since he left and we'll miss him when he's gone.
