1 Good man management 2 Hard working team 3 Taking the focus away from the players letting them build their confidence 4 Having a very good game plan thats good on the eye 5 Having a top assistant I'm sure theres more positives that could be listed unbelievable achievement for the first half of the season.
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o Can't edit the title it did say outfit?
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o When were we relegation material ? because Keith said we were. We are more or less in the same position as last season ,a season when we never looked like being relegated. Footy is better I'll give you that but all this over achieving ****** is doing my head in
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o Agreed, we were never in any danger of relegation last season. Hope Keefs reading tonight.
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o The way we finished the season and the sale of Shackell /reducing our budget along with no goal scorers at the club filled me with confidence.
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o He's not talking about 12 months ago. When Hillcroft took over, and Robins' 2,535 loanees went back, and we lost Greedy Jase, Colace and so on, we had about 10 players. Players who were gash and wrote off last year - apart from Bob and Doyle. Butts was a bit parter, and Steele got criticism every other game. And then Keith signed Wiseman and Done, Davies, McNulty and so on and so on.. So yeah, relegation material
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o I think he maybe YT or bringing those players in would have been one of his listed options shirley.
Re: How has Hill changed us from relegation material into a mid-tabled entertaining o So it's nothing to do with the coaching then? That's the most important thing you left of your list........IMHO
Bobby Hassell interview the other day on that internet radio Said he was really enjoying training at the moment and that it was the best it has been since Andy Ritchie was manager! Head tennis and bacon sarnies anyone?
The players enjoy playing and training with the boss keith Hill has excellent banter with the players no one should be in doubt about what he has achieved so far losing Hamill last season and Shackell pre season left a squad which in my opinion had two quality players Haynes and Steele. When Robins walked away I feared the worst only Coventry and Pikeys were less fancied at start of season now I cant wait for Saturday sure the balloon will probably burst but if anybody thinks another manager could have achieved this on falling attendances and budgets name that person.
