The ODIs are gonna be a whitewash too. Embarrassing. I notice some people have gone a bit quiet on the cricket.

Its been a complete embarrassment starting with The Ashes and continuing into this farcical ODI series.

At least the women won again, and only need one more win to retain teh ashes.

The women are 8 nil up. How many games are they playing to still need a win just to retain?

They are playing 1 test which we won( 6 points) 3 ODI's and 3 20/20. each limited over game is worth 2 points hence the 8 points total so far. So 5 games left possible 10 points, 1 more win and they retain.

Ta. Nice simple format then. Why only 1 test?

Well I have been watching the ODI series but have refrained from starting any more threads so as not to provoke more futile discussion with the most-knowledgeable one. Went to bed last night and wagered a bet with my other half over how many overs Australia would still have remaining to win the game. I said 13. So England did better than I thought - with "only" 10 overs remaining. Pathetic. Again.

Don't know. This was the format that they came up with for last summers matches and they've carried it through to the winter ashes series. If I remember I'll ask someone on the know when they get back.

Not making excuses fir them but can't help thinking sooner or later fists will fly. Clarkes antics again today when Morgan didn't walk (rightly so) were disgraceful. Wish Flintoff was still playing.

We don't have any really big characters anymore. Flintoff used to own them and be mates with them at the same time.
