How is the € faring at the minute compared to the £ ?

    Need some currency, but just wondering if its particularly good at the moment? On th enet it looks like 1.46 - would this be classed as average, above averagel, below average or what? (blagger)

    1.42 when we was in palma nova just over a week ago. Got same over here too.

    Not getting many euros to the pound at the moment

    About as low as it's been for a long time. Was over 1.50 a couple of months back. Had hoped it would be better, considering the current UK interest rates.

    I agree, we have had a nationwide account for a couple of years, that is only used for travelling. Don't bother with exchanging loads of cash or travellers cheques. Just get a little bit to last until you find a cash machine. You get a good rate, and no extra charges.</p>
