Barnsley 69 7. Rochdale 68 8. Chesterfield 68 9. Fleetwood 68 10. Bradford 67 Win all 4 and we've still got a chance. Come on you deluded Reds!
It just shows how much we were still in it on Saturday. There was an end of season feel to the game yet a win and we still had a big chance.
Anything can happen in League 1 to be fair. Looking at those fixtures apart from the unlikely even of us winning all of our games, Rochdale and Bradford could become irrelevant. Their fixtures are really hard and think your being generous with some of their results. Unfortunately, I cannot see Chesterfield ****ing up with their fixtures left and think they'll get that sixth spot.
Tbf I reckon it isn't far from what could feasibly happen, you might have even been a bit generous on a couple. But the unrealistic bit is us winning all 4.
I think the points gained for all the other teams seem fair. Win all 4 and we certainly have a chance. Unfortunately our biggest rival for 6th spot is Chesterfield so we missed a great chance on Saturday.
It's over. Stop deluding thissens. Speaking of delusion, we're going to smash this poo league up next year.
We haven't won in 6 and suddenly we're gonna do 4 on the spin? It's a nice well thought out theory but it's not going to happen. Let it go....
I'm not saying we will. Far from it. Just saying it's still achievable and the teams above us still have a lot to do.
