How long does it take to drive to stansted mid day?

    I went by train... GNER, changed at Peterboro

    Took two hours twenty, incl changes.

    Good alternative, only cost me £30

    allow an hour but I've done it in 1/2 an hour

    Watch out for the hidden speed cameras though on the approach D/C to the airport.

    half hour !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! your kidden, best i've done is 50 mins and thats at 2 an 3 in a morning !!</p>

    Flat out, 4 in morning...

    its abart 40 miles</p>

    I do not hang about at that time of morning.</p>

    Can't say it was exactly 1/2 hour but not far off.</p>

    To put into perspective I used to work in Inverness.</p>

    I have done that 420+ miles in five hours, refuelled at Gretna services in under 2 hours</p>
