    It used to take me about 17 hours

    But it depends on which ferry I got and on traffic on the Antwerp ring road.

    Why?

    The BBS isn't just about Barnsley FC.

    Maybe there's people on here who do that journey everyday and can answer him quicker than some route planner.

    Sorry that wasn't much help

    Actually I would take the back road over Wharnecliffe Hill and Grenoside before joining the A61 near that smelly old football ground. Join it just past Wortley on the A629 and get off at Wadsley Bridge onto the A61. Pleasant drive and no traffic.
