I reckon we have got him until QPR at home on 28th Feb. 8 more games cause he can't play against Norwich. They can recall him anytime though.
That doesnt make sense Norwich can recall him at 24 hours notice - If they have a problem with other strikers or think he has run into form To say we have him for 2 more matches makes no sense at all
I reckon we'll sign him permanently He hasn't been playing at Norwich and has at Barnsley, plus he's out of contract at the end of the season.
Possible I suppose he may not wish to return to Carrow road but giving him any greater than a years contract would be a risky business and he may want more than that
RE: Possible I suppose Contract till end of next season. He surely can't expect a 2 and a half year one at 33...
3 month with 24hr call back and won't play next Saturday obviously. Which is why ODJ won't be going anywhere until we've got a striker in.
RE: Possible I suppose 18 months more likely. He wouldn't want to sign just until the end of the season and it is unusual for contracts to end halfway through a season so it would have to be for all of next season too.
He already has a contract to the season end I expect he will want more unless he's prepared to try and prove he's worth longer, but given this next contract may be his last decent one at this level he'll probably look toward a transfer fee free move in the summer to maximise his own bank balance. I suppose its possible naarich want him off the wage bill though which may put things in a different light.
Norwich fans I spoke to last weekend Reckoned he had fallen out with their manager and the he doesnt want him back.
RE: I reckon we'll sign him permanently im sure he has 18 months left on his contract at norwich. They signed him last year on a 3 year deal
RE: Possible I suppose But if Norwich were going to let us have him, surly we would have had permission to play him in the cup?
24hr call back only on the first month i think... according to SD interview on Radio Inbred last night.
