How long will it take me to cycle from Sheff to Oakwell tomorrow?

Not really into cycling as a rule, but said I'd try it - 10 miles ish. A couple of pretty big hills but otherwise fairly flat.
Need to set off in time to get shower at my mums & go for a pre match beer. I'm reckoning 2 hours max.... anyone got any ideas?

    if you don't cycle regularly

Rockley Hill will knacker you-what are you riding-an MTB with a very low first gear would probably be OK

Allow an hour and a half given the hills, for a pleasant journey

Last time i had bike out was 3 weeks back - did 5 miles no bother. Its a hybrid mountain/ road bike so should be up to the job... you can forget me pedalling Rockley hill!! That's a get off & push job! Lactic acid will take over after about 20 meters!

    Yes

Was going to go to Metrodome & get showered there, but they want to charge me £4-80 for a shower, so I've opted to go to mum's (garage). Not cycling back so it can stay there - might cycle home after next match?!

if you can walk up then you should be able to cycle up in bottom gear on a hybrid-do you know what gearing you have-if you have a big rear sprocket the same size as the smallest front sprocket-maybe 28 teeth-you should cycle it  comfortably

    RE: Route

Dunno if you were anyway, but I'd go up past Tankersley Manor, down by the turn for Tankersley Church and go to Hoyland Common and turn left at the traffic lights to Birdwell and then to Stainborough. - Thro' Pilley and up to Birdwell to get to Stainborough could be a bit challenging. With all due respect to your fitness like ....
