Yesterday could have been any match from the last three years. Supposedly Davey he had learnt from his mistakes but he blatantly hasn't. Let's just get rid now before it's too late.
agree 100%. things are not getting any better. same manager + same players + same mind boggling tactics = same results
I just wonder who this super manager we have in the awaiting is going to be? It would probably end up being Ryan Kid, Ronnie Branston or whoever is coaching the development squad. I think it was Brian Laws on the Radio Sheffield Managers evening who talking about us going through 10 managers in 10 years and said "they couldnt all be wrong could they?" Last time we went for an up and coming manager from a lower league we ended up with Steve Parkin - look how that worked out too. Im not defending Davey for yesterday nor am i condemning him, he isnt responsible for players that dont perform once hes selected them for a game, its how he reacts to yesterdays game on tuesday that im going to judge Davey on. Personally JCR should be dropped, KO should come back in to start with Macken IMO and give a start to the new kid if hes ready and has got clearance. Would possibly give Moore a rest if hes still struggling with his foot injury and play O'Neil if his clearance is given in time too.
For a start aidy boothroyd wants to get back into management He's gained promotion from this league before and reached the play-offs so he cant be too bad a manager and before anyone says he wouldn't come to us i'd like to point out that there aren't exactly dozens of championship clubs without managers for him to choose from.
RE: For a start aidy boothroyd wants to get back into management So why arent a whole host of clubs lining up to sign him up then? Hes used to spending money in a way that we cant too.
A host of clubs don't have simon davey in charge Name me a worse manager in the championship than simon davey, you'll be struggling to name a worse one.
You mean the kevin blackwell that came within 90 minutes of getting his side promoted to the premier last year? He was 90 minutes from premiership, davey was 90 minutes from relegation so I think you'll need to try again, i genuinely can't name a worse manager in the championship than davey
RE: You mean the kevin blackwell that came within 90 minutes of getting his side promoted to the pre Im pretty sure if we had the resources, attendances etc that sheffield have we would have a better quality of players and be challenging further up the table. But yeah why let things like that get in the way of trying to prove one manager is better than the other.
Hey that's right! Or maybe Jim Iley best drinking trousers. They would have motivated them right from the off at Hillsbro rather than have them recover from halftime to secure a creditable draw.
Because my point was That sheffield united don't need to change their manager while we do. Why would they approach boothroyd when they came within 90 minutes of promotion?
RE: Hey that's right! "Iley out, Iley out" and so on and so forth. I'm regressing to my teenage years. I've decided I don't like being an adult.
