For having me as a granddad (obviously) ;-). But as my mate said coming back on Sunday. His dad had supported Barnsley all his life and had never seen them at Wembley, having died the year before the 2000 playoff. My grandkids, 6 and 11, have seen the reds win TWICE at Wembley. Let's all appreciate what this season has given us.
Same for my lads - eldest aged 7, seen us play 7 times, lose only once, won the other six, including twice at Wembley! Youngest, aged 3. Seen 3 games, of which 2 are winning at Wembley!!
When I first started going, we'd never played in the top flight or at Wembley. Next one I'd really love is for us to win the FA Cup, and qualify for Europe. Not sure if becoming an established Premier League side is realistic, or even what I'd want, especially if seven of the starting eleven were foreign.
Similar here mate My dad just lived to see them in 2000 having supported the Reds since 1936, my eldest son has now seen them at Wembley 3 times and once at the Millenium, the youngest lad couldn't make it on sunday as he was working. 4th time at Wembley for me (kids were a bit too young in 2000).
