You, Coachman & Spartacus ...

... in a circle tugging each other off.

Watched the highlights last night & the entire game this morning.
Thought we were fortunate - but pretty solid.
As you said last night - I'd take another four crappy 1-0 wins.

How good will Lewin be in a few years?
Any chance your mate might offer Derby a few cookers to get him here full time?

I imagine after 4 months utter crap ,

that there are quite a few that wont be renewing.

Setting out to play in a style where the aimed for result is a 0-0 draw hoping for a 1-0 wont inspire people to part with their money.

Footy is supposed to be a results business but its funny how quite a few teams who are winning but winning ugly dont get the fans through the door.

I don't agree that's what we're doing, we've played some decent stuff at times. The goals in the last 2 games have been excellent. You have to use the long ball sometimes to be successful in this league. The pretty stuff didn't work for us did it?

Staying in Championship = vast majority renew

Relegation = lots will not renew

Doesn't matter how we stop up as long as we do

Football is an entertainment business. If fans aren’t getting entertained as at the moment doubt I will be renewing.

The last home game was a big improvement. But maybe that was only because Davey thinks we where good enough to do that and he doesn’t think we can do it against anybody else.

Surely the only way to pick up points is to attack, not let the so called better teams attack us at will. It’s hardly been inspiring stuff to watch since the Ipswich game has it.

It’s all good keeping it tight and poxing a goal on the one occasion we go up the field in a game. But when we came up against Southampton did we play any better than we did on Monday?

Anyway after Hull I’d like to give Davey the benefit of the doubt and see what type of performance we put in on Saturday and hope it’s a positive one.

FFS you lot all moan when we lose and low and behold you moan when we win!!!

What can the team do to get you on their side???

the last 2 games have seen a vast improvement in work ethic and team spirit..the celebrations after the game on monday night showed that

We will NOT get out of the trouble we are in by playing fancy attacking football

we are in a relegation fight and thats exactly what we are doing FIGHTING!!!!

    totally agree with you Monkey....

for whats left of this season it does not matter a jot if our football is entertaining, scrappy, silky, ugly, pretty or what...all that matters is staying up by hook or crook or ugly dull scrappy stuff..JUST AS LONG AS WE DO...get established and THEN work on the pretty stuff

At the end of the day fans soon forget the frustrations of a season and blind optimism reigns during the Summer months. If we stay in the Championship we are more likely to expect the club to mount a challenge for the Premiership, than continue bemoaning this seasons sterile peformances.
