Cos at the time he was a very good player whereas a victim of the boo boys like Wiseman and Kennedy

Clean slate time give the lads a chance

 

Some probably did at the time, because back then it was hard to take, when he just pledged his future the club, and then days later he went to Wednesday.

It compounded the disappointment of relegation.

However, over time, it seems the majority of people have seen sense and realised that it would have been very difficult for him to turn that job down. Another club he had/has an affinity with, in the Premier League, a bigger club, more money.

It's a bigger man/woman who did boo at the time but has understood (accepted) over time why he left, and now welcome him back, rather than still to be calling him Judas 15 years later.

 

I think Tyrone is meaning when the Reds fans got on at him in a Cup match , not long after he had come to Barnsley and he was playing ***** !! Not after he left to manage Weds.

Missed the Bromsgrove reference, was assuming, as usual, that it was about him leaving for Wednesday.

 

He was playing very poorly at the time, he could not get it out of his system that Chris Waddle was not out on the wing and ready to receive the pass, which is where Danny kept playing the ball. He said as much himself, that he started off poorly as a player here , but is glad he could finally win over the doubters !
But dont let that stop you from having a pop at the fans, just so you can call them again for saying the Kennedy is ***** !

 

Brilliant find, don't think I'd ever seen those goals, I was only 11 then, remember 'watching' the game on Ceefax!
