why, do they give them only a third, half or three quarter cap if they dont play the whole match????????? it'd be a bit hard to wear then wunt it????
RE: Is he an England great? Certainly one of the best/most consistent/most reliable/influential over the last 10 years or so
Undeniably one of the most gifted, skilled and talented players I've ever seen Would have liked to have seen him in England all his career though, the top four rivalry prevented that
without doubt to put it into perspective there are a few players who will beat Beckhams caps haul in the next few years. gerrard, lampard, terry, ferdinand, even Rooney - none of them fit to lace Becks' boots
I agree..... Beckham has been a great servant to the English cause. Extremely talented, who could ever forget his performance against Greece when he seemingly single-handedly took England to the World Cup Finals with his last minute free kick. That's the stuff of legends! Beckham, in my opinion, is most certainly an England great - he'd piss on the likes of Keegan etc. Mind you, Bobby Charlton is possibly another level, but then again, not many could aspire his contribution for England methinks
Yes he is I am not sure he is the greatest England player - Bobby - Charlton or Moore both higher in my opinion but not many others And I still think he is in the squad on merit. The control and cross for Rooneys Goal were quality. As was the cross for the goal crouch would have scored had Terry not tried goal raking from an offside position.
