    Losing to us must be seen as the final nail in the coffin for any manager. Can't think of them off hand but i'm sure there were three at least in the past two seasons as well as Mowbray. Dave Jones next up??

    John Aldridge was after we came from 0-2 to win 3-2 at Prenton Park. I seem to remember most of our subs coming on and scoring, I think Shipps and rankin scored

    I was at that game at Prenton Park. I was at Meadow Lane in 95 when we beat County and Howard Kendall was sacked. And, Strachan left Boro 3 years ago after a defeat at Oakwell, I think.

    Wasn't it Rankin who, while still our player, scored against us while he was on loan and celebrated like he'd won the lottery in front of the Ponty.

    Best one for me was sturrock even tho we lost to a last minute brunt goal we showed em up n he got sack

    It was a good day at work that day not had many over dee dars but enjoyed that day even tho we lost to listen their chairman rant on about how bad they were and he had to sack manager after we out everythinged em hee hee
