    and agent's fees this season?

My guess would be 1... Hill.

Yet some can't accept that it is the major influencer on our ability to compete at this level.

NB: Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about the money spent, as I believe only Collins was signed for cash this year (a whopping £50k was it) after joining on loan last season).

Obviously. Maybe I should have worded it as transfer fees rather than "players" for the pedants out there.

to be fair i only put the wages in to be silly.

there is no such thing as a free transfer as there is cost involved ie to a player or agent or both.

its a term that really shouldnt be used as it gives us the fans the wrong impression about a clubs finances,

True, but there is also further cost involved in non free transfers, of which BFC haven't made any this season.

With all things being equal, the better the player, the higher the transfer fee.

I have no idea. Do you?

And do you really think that if he had money to spend then he wouldn't?

How many clubs sold their best player for well over a million pounds, then plugged the gap they failed to fill due to their own **** ups?
Btw, he had a 400k bid accepted for Norwood, so where did that go?

i think there is funds there but keith would prefer to sign someone than waste that money on 1 or 2 loan signings.

but i think he knows we need at least a forward right now.

keiths in a no win situation at the moment which doesnt help us a s a club or as fans

None thats why I asked the question, although Don stated there was money to be had.

Many a time he has said he will go with what we`ve got.

also maybe dons told him he cant have any money at moment so the books look a little better to potential investors which means they would get a little more for the club if or when they do sell

Exactly. Where did it go? If the funds for Norwood have since been revoked then it's hardly the fault of the manager.

Didn't Don also state that we were getting a scoreboard in October and that we hadn't spoken to Mido? Pinch of salt.
