Have you actually enjoyed this season? In fact, I'll rephrase that - how many matches have you been to where you didn't want to leave after about fifteen minutes? Apart from the legendary best ever performance ever by any team ever against Everton, the only games I found remotely enjoyable were Gillingham and Swindon which I would rate at 6.5-7/10. The rest have been dismal. Not much return for £300.
Enjoyed the first half at Colchester. As regards Home games the entertainment value and standard of performances have been some of the worst I can ever remember. Bought a season ticket on the strength of the Everton game. If this clown is still in charge come renewal time then the BFC can whistle Dixie !!!
Somebody asked when was the last time we won at home? It was like a university challenge question, we were all scratching our heads. I think somebody got it in the end.
I enjoyed the Everton game. In the league the only game I found remotely entertaining was Gillingham. Other than that it's been poor at best and utter tripe in most other games.
As a game I enjoyed the Colchster match. It's the only league game I've actually enjoyed under Johnson (I missed Rochdale last season).
He will go around sticket renewal time Doctor .....or else they will lose a lot of money. by then tho we could be virtually in the fourth division. hth
Re: Just one I've enjoyed every weekend so far this season, on account of me no longer going. And that waking up Sunday morning feeling, where the first thought is the result and performance of the previous day, is all but a distant memory.
Re: Just one and before long there will be a lot more like you Mr W 1zz....once people get out of the habit, they very rarely return. Then when the spin twins eventually leave our club, it will be in a bigger mess than they have got it in already. Sad times at the well
Re: Just one Wigan away in the JPT was the only game, apart from Everton, that I genuinely enjoyed. Gillingham and Swindon were decent results, but not exactly very entertaining performances. The rest has been dross tbh.
Re: Just one That is actually really true. I gave up my season ticket four years ago, after 25 years of having a season ticket, when we had our first bin lid and I could no longer justify spending all day Saturday travelling to and back from the game to watch Keith Hill's tripe - I would say I missed it for about six months whereas now I honestly don't give it a second thought. For the last two years I've only been to about three or four games a season and they tend to be all aways as it tends to be a more enjoyable day out. Oakwell is just depressing.
Re: Just one Oldham away was great, Blackpool for the first 20 minutes was good, Chesterfield for the first 30 mins. That's about it.
Re: Just one Prefer the away days but unless changes are made will knock the whole shebang into touch. Can't keep chucking money down the kazi
Very much the case for me I gave my season ticket up 2 years ago, on and off but mostly on for 30 years, my circumstances are different cos I live closer but could no longer justify committing precious time at weekends to something that was making me miserable when I had other demands on my time that needed prioritising. I keep an eye on the results, my son has a season ticket and goes to the odd away game cos of the novelty at his age, but even he's starting to say he cant be bothered under current management and conditions. Such is the state, even more damning indictment on this bizarre stance on keeping a terrible manager. The owner has backed himself into a corner with Johnson, anyone with any sense or minor understanding of modern football will be looking at it thinking blimey thats odd, 12 defeats in 14 and not fired? In the meantime we watch from a distance as the club suffers a slow and painful death, desensitising yourself by not attending, what a shame. 2 seasons ago if someone wouldve told me we'd be looking at relegation to League 2 I simply wouldnt have believed it, but unless someone buys John Stones from Everton for 40 million quid and creates an exit for the owner, I cannot see anything other than relegation, and in one bad managerial appointment he'll have put us further back than when he took over and wiped out any remaining legacy or memory of being any form of saviour.
