Are good enough to play in the Championship ? because to be honest i think we would be in the 5h1t with these players if we got promoted
RE: Colgan,Mcphail,Hassell,Howard Mcphail will be playing championship football next year, regardless of our promotion or not.
RE: Colgan,Mcphail,Hassell,Howard think Howard is one to watch class act for me yesterday, but McPhail is all left foot make him play on his right and he,s knackered.
RE: none but that was not always the case, so your point bieng ? how many of our current squad can do a good job in the championship ????
I seem to remember the same question being asked in 1981 . Then the consensus of opinion amongst the fans was that we'd need a new centre forward . Trevor Aylott had appeared slow and cumbersome , at times , and had manged a mere 10 goals in Division 3. According to all the terrace "experts" , there was no way in hell that he could do a job in Division 2 . Funnily enough , when big Trev proved us all wrong , no one ( and I include myself in this ) was big enough to admit we were wrong . There will be players in the current squad who find a higher level of football far more suitable to their talents than the present alehouse league .
RE: I seem to remember the same question being asked in 1981 . mcphail, reid, hassell, hayes, nardiello. Just a few off the top of my head that I think would be maybe better in the championship than League 1
Not that chestnut again. How many very right footed players are there?
No-one takes notice of the right footers never kicking with their left. Just because he is a lefty is the only reason that people notice
