How long to go before it becomes difficult to knock off the runs?

We need to bat about another 10 overs.

If we put 250 on the board we may have a chance of knocking the Aussies over and winning the match !!!!!

    It's all over

There aren't 48 overs left. I've cracked open a beer.

There's no scheduled time for close of play today. It's when the 48 overs have been bowled.

According to the BBC there are 47 overs left in the day.

''If Australia bowl England out immediately they will have 47 overs left to chase a target of 228 to win. ''

    I agree.
    I think it's all over.
I would expect our boys to see out another 10 - 15 overs ... leaving the Aussies 35 overs to get 260-ish at 7.5 an over.
I don't think Gilchrist will open, but he'll probably be in at number 4.
They'll attempt to smash it all over, but will fall short.
