    We still use them.

    Laura has been bought a laptop by CFSN to use when off sick (like now) and prefers to use a mouse and mat as it's easier to control than the inbuilt mouse.

    I use them in my mouse martial arts studio and wrestling/boxing ring, other then that they're fairly useless.

    I've got a glass table

    But my mouse still works pretty well without a mat on my computer desk. Maybe I've set up my glass table wrong.

    NO - Useless these days with optical mice.

    I've gota consignment of VHS librarycases in the form of fake books if you want as well.

    I use one out of habit

    Mouse works just the same whether there is a mat or not but the mat at least keeps a mouse sized area of my desk free from paper and other clutter

    Not me. There are loads kicking about at work collecting dust
