How many tickets were actually up for grabs

    Id say not the 6000 as advertised. I would imagine people at the club have been giving out freebies to friends and families thus making season ticket holders second choice in a way.

    Mate of mine rarely goes to Oakwell but along with two work mates is going to Anfield courtesy of Ronnie Branson according to him.

    get an allocation of tickets........ So there were no doubt less than 6000 on sale.
