the linesman in front of the east stand might as well have stayed in the dressing room, at least 2 happened right under his nose.

Having seen it again on SSN a few times I reckon that Doyle's head blocks the referees view of the headbutt (more of a push really).

If Doyle hadn't run in when he did.... ....Davies would have made contact with macken and been sent off without a doubt. Doyle arrived just before he broughthis head forward, meaning his headbuttfell short.
