Andy Ritchie doing his best on Radio Leeds today to deflect suggestions that he is talking to Danny Nardiello about a transfer to Huddersfield. Was not going out of his way to deny it either!!

What do you reckon - add Hayes, Colgan and Kay who were all rated by Ritchie?

Might be Just Like Watching the Reds at the Galpharm next season!!!

    :)

He might be talking to him

But can't see Nardiello choosing Huddersfield if we offer him a new contract.

Having said that I'm still not convinced he's capable of doing it consistently at Championship level.

    Hayes..possibly
Kay...if we dont offer him a contract he may though unlikely.
Nardiello..I suspect that they cannot afford to outpay us (or any other championship club) and Richtea rarely played him. In fact judging by Nardiello's own comments regarding fitness etc I severely doubt it.

i'd have serious doubts about any player who dropped down a league when he was getting first team football

He'll be looking for wide players.

Ritchie likes to play with width in a 4-4-2 formation and assembles teams with players who suit that system. Huddersfield haven't played that way before so he'll be looking for players who are capable of playing that way.Overlapping fullbacks and wingers are most likely to be on his shopping list.
