Interested to see how much damage the club/owners/Crynes/Council have done with the West Stabd farce......
I think less than 50 tbh, I’m genuinely keen to see how many we do end up losing and if people do stop going will they come back once it’s opened
I'm pay on the day (often working on Saturday) and effectively banned until further notice by the West Stand debacle.
I know 3 who have asked for refunds. I'm pretty sure that me and CS don't know the same people so that's 6 that just 2 of us know.
I’ve put less than 100, those fans will be seriously upset, as are most of the rest of us, but as they are fans and will struggle to walk away (I’m trying putting myself in the same position) I think the majority will move. Just what the powers that be will have banked on - it stinks.
We aren't selling tickets for home areas currently. Remains to be seen if pay on the day will still be available. If the 2 remaining home stands end up close to full pay on the day may no longer be a option.
Think a lot, including myself, will stay on for the rest of the season. After that not too sure, can't say I want to be in the east stand or the ponty permanently so it very much depends what happens over the rest of the season. As for the overall number of people getting refunds, i'd be surprised if it was over 200 but when it comes to renewals i'd expect to lose another 2/300. More if the football carries on as it is.
I've spent a week in the sun planning my flounce / refund, but on reflection I today relocated to the East side. Who knows if it is the right decision ........
I took a little bit of flak last week for supposedly challenging someone’s commitment (which wasn’t ment that way), I suspect there’ll be lots like you who initially say **** it then realise the XI is bigger than any club/owner(s) dispute
the 2 friends that sat just behind me and Dad and who we often car shared with have asked for refunds so my random sample of 4 people its currently 50% we still might throw in the towel though depending on what the experience is like when we actually get to watch a game in our new seats - that wont be until Hull on the 6th Nov though as we haven't got them for the Blunts game and I cant do the Derby Midweek game
To be fair you included the council who issued the statement saying the stand was safe to use after we had been told porkies so far as I'm concerned the council have nothing to do with the west stand closing. By looks its been done to accommodate away fans.
Lost 3 with our tickets.Joke of a club. One was 35 years one with 25 years and one with 15 years.Well done CONMAN AND LEE
