It's a no from me. I'll pick and choose matches as I did last time we dropped to the Fourth Division.

Yes. And I'll use the much criticised early bird offer. But I'll probably not attend every game.

    Depends.

If the current ownership are there then probably not. But that also is the case whatever league we're in.

I think I'll wait & see what our transfer dealings are. If we did similar to this summer with all the loan signings then I wouldn't renew

Probably not. I don't want to watch L2 footy week in week out, irrespective of price.

That would depend on whether there are any changes. As things stand I'll be thinking long and hard before parting with cash when the club is in terminal decline.

Of course otherwise i will be contributing to the decline of the club i love by withdrawing my financial support. Don't get me wrong i am far from happy with the club and miss more games than i have ever done having followed the Reds since the mid 70s but it is an integral part of my life and will be as long as i am able to attend. Does hurt like hell at the minute and working in Sheffield doesn't help but i have to believe things will get better.

Course I will I watch BFC not leagues we're not in
I have very little interest in the other professional leagues we're not in, only the competitions that affects us.
And if that's league two so be it.
    I've been there before.

I agree but as a customer I would be making a business decision. Just like the club does with its supply chain (barnsley player, brewery, catering etc). My choice would be one of not wanting the product on offer. If the club needs just my financial backing from a loyalty, emotional and survival position I'm happy to make a donation.

Yes, health and finances permitting. Although I'd obviously prefer not to have to. I had one from 1972 to 1979, so been there, done that, got the t shirt. Others can do as they see fit, it's not for me to tell them what to do.

Yes your logic is bang on if i was just a customer but i am a supporter which prevents me making the logical decision and i'm sure that will be the case for many of us.

The division we're in has no relevance to my attendance or support for BFC.

Yes, I'll not be particularly happy about watching fourth division football but I've been watching them for 32 years now, since I was 6 years old, and apart from a stint where I had a Saturday job whilst at uni I've always had a season ticket, so it's a habit I won't be dropping. What I have found though is that I never ever used to miss a game if I was around, sometimes now though with young kids I may be tempted to spend the odd Saturday afternoon doing something else. I'll still have a Season ticket though.

So you will continue to attend the odd one or two games a season then ;)

Yes I will still be a supporter and a fan. However as a customer, which is primarily how the club handle me, I will pick and choose games to watch. I think we will stay up though and will decide on my season pass renewal at the end of the season. Purely a decision based on entertainment value. Even if I renew its feasible I might even pick and choose games despite keeping the season ticket.
