Only since the early 90's for me. Only came occasionally as a young un. Parents had neither the inclination or the funds to take me to more.

My first season ticket was when I was 19 after relegation to what's now league one. I had just started working full time after not finishing uni and expected us to have a promotion push. Just after I bought it the administration / Hodges era began, I ended up putting my name on a seat (i think it's still there, I changed seats years back and i don't have a ST anymore due to my shifts at work), my name on a brick, buying a club reds bond, wondering if the club would exist.

I met and had a conversation with Sean Lewis when renewing the following season. A lovely tale of financial injection, squad building and promotions (2 of them) he told.

Times are a bit better now

Started watching the Reds in 1965 when I was 9 years old - in the days of Johnnie Steele, smell of Woodbines in the Old Brewery Stand, fans walking from one end to t'other at half time.

We were at or near the bottom of Division 4 then, I think. Things have changed a little, but some fans are still moaners!!

I came in the late 90's with my dad to a few games when his mate with st wasn't going. First game I remember clearly is the play off final at wembley.

Got my first ST for the 2004/2005 and season and had one untill I went to uni in 09.

This season is my first ST since the 08/09 season.

    Can't wait.

My late Father bought me my first season ticket the following year (1969/70) and I've had one ever since. Flipping heck, forty five years! All those years and I still know bugger all! Oh for being a teenager again and knowing everything(!):D

94 was when I started to attend oakwell at the tender age of 4 (don would be turning in his grave) but didnt really gain any real interest until the season before the premier league.

When i first started you just went to the reserves til your dad said you were old enough so i saw our reserves beat man u 6 5 with some of the players killed at Munich. My 1st first team game was at the back end of '58/59 season.

35th season for me, I used to tag along with my brother who was at big school. but he'd ditch me to be with his mates. Probably because I was harder than him, cleverer, funnier and better looking too. Started going on my own, still do. Though me and ark104 might become football buddies. Not gay ones mind.

Very impressive!! Geraldinho Wainwright from London Tykes clocked 70 seasons couple of years back. Still travels up for games. Jason Shackell said "very impressive" too.

    Re: 35th year???

I was!! That's why I started going, I was one of Clarkie's school recruits even though they never visited Market Street!!

Mam's not bad thanks mate, they seem to have steadied her troubles a bit. Mrs C is threatening me and Gustaw with haircuts. She's serious. We were holding out quite well, but it's looking a bit every man for himself now. He won't have one unless I do and she's bought it. It's times like these you find out who your friends are. :(
