Just making a point. National show, a certain sport phone in co-presenter and former south Yorkshire resident put on is twitter in the last 3 month that hes got a brand new 4x4 and one of the nicest jags i have seen in a long time so in the world of nice car means you earn a fortune then this radio must be paying top whack wages.
I think the person you are on about has had several sources of income in his fairly long and successful career and probably doesn't rely too much on the wage he receivces now to purchase nice things . . . but no, its probably not peanuts. Chris Moyles apparently earns about a million a year.
Just had a look and in 2006 he was earning (apparently) £630,000 per year. Not sure where you're going with this . . . . !!
The fact is clubs can't afford the wages being demanded. Can you understand that? If you can, what would your solution be? Even higher ticket prices? Your dole won't cover it soon, mum and dad might not be able to either.
