Conservative and cautious we are. By necessity, for a while.... yep, as it proves, we would be feeling real good if we'd have pushed the boat out for Chopra. But...... ne'er mind. Opportunities are missed when you are conservative in nature. That's okay Mr Shepherd, we are understanding of the line we walk at this time. Steady as she goes... to mix a few mataphors...
GS has supposedly got good business sense! Any BFC fan could have told you he was a bargain at 500K! Even if his wages are 8Kish a week! We would now be riding high and the fans would turn up to see him play. GS has dropped a massive bollock. Chops even cam out and said come get me but no! No ambition at all. GS sole intention this year is to try and stay up without spending a penny and cream the fans for what they are worth. Well the pay on the gat ewill stop coming soon Gordy - i can tell you that. Enterntaining or not - people will not come and pay good money to see us lose every week! Its too gutting for us! SORT IT OUT FFS!
RE: GS has supposedly got good business sense! Any BFC fan could have told you he was a bargain at 5 If Chops was on 8k a week and everyone else is was on 2k then what sort of message does that send out? Chopra would have been excellent for us but was never realistic.
Are you suggesting That we should never try to bring in better players as it might upset the players who are already here?
RE: Are you suggesting No because we have brough McIndoe and Togwell in who have improved our team within the budgets set. Do you want us to go back in to administration? Do you want team spirit to be affected?
RE: By the same token, Depends how much Shipperley is on and whether Sheff U would have subsidised part of his wages.
"Do you want us to go back in to administration?" Yes, yes I do. That's just what I want. You silly man.
RE: "Do you want us to go back in to administration?" My questions were equally as valid as yours Jay. Yes we all want to see better players brought in but NOT to the detriment of the club financially. If we can afford them all well and good if not then move on and look elsewhere.
Two tins of brokken biscuits appears to be our limit relegation will cost us a minimum of
23games x 15 pounds x 2000 reduction in attendance = 690k
Less TV revenue = 600k
1.29m / 52 = 24,800 per week...3 decent wages

I can tell you what message that sends out..... I am a quality FINISHER, and I am a lot better than you.... I think that would be fair to say.
