Up to the last couple of games I was led to believe that we were hoping to get him for nothing if he negotiated a release with Derby, but maybe not now!

Still can't see him playing in the Premiership though.

 

I agree. When they have players like Howard, Miller and Earnshaw I really can't see him getting a game. Especially if they are looking to strengthen in January - they'll want him off the wagebill. And if it's true that he's out of contract in the summer then I think they'd accept £250k now rather than lose him for nowt.
