They will pay £28 on the day. Only way we can do member scheme is let others have same offer say the FA
Leeds supporters can only buy away match tickets if they are a ST Holder/Club Member Therefore the only ticket prices we can offer to the Leeds supporters is the £25 discounted price. Which roughly translates into - what a farce this 'Oakwell 1887' Members scheme is, it was designed to get an extra £3 from the away support but in situations like this we end up charging more for home fans than away. Once the FA said we had to offer the discount to the away supporters, surely they should have scrapped it and charged £25 for everybody?? Madness!
But ANY Barnsley fan can pay £25, you have a month to get a ticket at £25, ffs stop moaning...you could have bought a ticket for £25 in the same time you have spent moaning about it!! Does my head in!!
Lets think about this then. 40 minutes to drive to and from oakwell on special journey. 20 minutes at box office queuing behind one man and then having to give club my details including blood group and list of previous sexual partners. One hour spent. Plus a couple of quid in petrol (negating the discount in the first place) And then for every match: 40 minute round trip to oakwell for special trip as cant buy ticket at the game for unknown reasons. 10 or 15 minutes behind bert and then proving who i am to buy ticket. 55/55 minutes and a couple of quid wasted. To moan about it: press reply, type a few words, hit send.30 seconds. Not really seeing your point here. My point and many others is that the scheme was designed to fleece away fans and benefit ours but becaus3 99% of away fans are season ticket holders or members THEY benefit while our casual or new fans for whom the above f!rting about isnt wor
It appears to me the Club is shooting itself in the foot yet again. We are losing home fans which will lead to long term loses to try and fleece away fans two or three time a year. This is a Club owned by an accountant ffs.
