A undisclosed fee Then a few on here will make up a sum, 5 or 6 people will say they've heard same then it goes down as gospel You should know this by now it happens with every transfer the club are involved in
I am hoping he goes to Brazil and gets a few games while still on Everton's books... that would bump his value up I reckon. Then let Chelsea,Man Utd or whoever come in for him for mega bucks. That's us sorted then.
would there be more for subsequent appearances? or just his initial debut. Also if he is transferred before his debut..... would we still get the payment ?
Re: would there be more for subsequent appearances? I don't think we should get too hung up on any remaining value in the Stones transfer as it's not exactly something the club can budget for, obviously it would be a nice windfall to get while we're in League One and short of cash. I was reading the other day that if Stones goes to Chelsea it could be as part of some swap deal for Lukaku, how would a sell on fee work with a swap deal? My guess is it would be a way out of Everton having to pay us anything.
Re: would there be more for subsequent appearances? Im guessing not because the clause would/could/possibly/most likely only apply to the club you've sold him to. The fee was about £3m, so the international clause is unlikely to be 'substanital'. Im guessing, in a slightly educated fashion
Re: would there be more for subsequent appearances? I guess that depends on what the clubs agree the two players are worth.
if that happened the swap scenario I mean. I would then be very pissed off if Barnsley did not take it to a tribunal. Oh and he is under 24 is there not some kinda ruling on that too.
Re: if that happened Not getting anything from a swap scenario would p*ss me off as I don't think transfer values as such come into it - I've always thought transfers were like houses anyway, only actually worth what someone is willing to pay so if you swap then no actual agreement has been made on the value. I don't like using Football Manager as a guide but I think it's a pretty well researched game and I noticed when I used to play that - sometimes when you sell a player, a percentage of the transfer fee can end up being split between several of the players former clubs (well the most I've noticed is three clubs). If this is accurate then maybe there is something that ties back to the club where the player started his career.
