Have you got a petrol mower? I have. I'm a proper bloke me. You could get a ride-on. They're also handy for nipping down the shops but you have to watch out for Yorkshire terriers and the like.
A bit to go yet I'm afraid mate. Grass stops growing when the temperature falls below 7 degs Centigrade (about 44 F)
Considering it's 20C/68F today, I'd keep thi mower handy for a while longer yet.

My mower died at the weekend No it's OK, I'm over it. I don't like talking about a replacement so soon after ... well, you know ... after the event, but we're moving house in a few weeks to an already empty property with a very overgrown garden. It's not big enough for a ride on unfortunately, unless they have very small turning circles, so looks like being a petrol one. Can you recommend one? How many miles are you getting to the gallon? What's your top speed? Any insurance problems? I won't get a 4x4 on principle so if that's what you've got then you can shove it, I'm not interested. Sorry but I feel strongly about that particular issue.
Fantastic I have a thermometer outside the back door and I just put a red line on the 7C mark with a legend to the side on a piece of laminated A4 paper that has a red line on it and by the red line I wrote "Mowing stops here!". It's hilarious. Where's Adam Hinchcliffe?
RE: My mower died at the weekend I'm so sorry to hear that. Life goes on mate. I'm currently running a Wolf 47cm 5HP HON, Self Propelled, 2 Speed. It's not bad on the gas, about six green wheely bins to the gallon, and it has a decent service interval. It's a bit of a head turner. I went for the red. It only comes in red.
Nice one I looked it up on Google, very stylish. And I bet you don't feel stupid pushing that to the Texaco garage to fill it up either.
