Would £750,000 in say 1920 be worth today?

    In simplistic terms

    Based on a 3% interest reate750000*1.03^86= 9.5m

300m would require an annual interest of 7.25%..why? nt

Depends what you mean, if you are saying how much would £750,000 be worth if left in a bank account until today or what is the equivalent value of £750k in 1920 to today.

    Wrong. Your calculation is flawed.

    The equation is as follows:

    750000 / Tuna (David Platt + 1.76) x Windass 3 match ban = £406.2m

    Don't worry though.
Your miscalculation was probably due to the upset of losing that beautiful leather jacket.
