    Never succumbed to that particular vice myself, and therefore probably wouldn't recognize it if I saw it. But isn't it expensive?

    Never seen it happen but you can spot some of the mutants, of all ages, who have been. Absolute wasters.

    In 1983 I was on a football tour in California and half of the opposition were snorting ‘coke’ at halftime. This probably explains why, after drawing 0-0 at halftime, we ended up losing 2-0.

    Just to clarify, I've just done an EFL survey and that was one of the questions.

    The survey was also far too long. Toward the end, people are getting bored and clicking any old *****. I nearly did.

    At Accrington other season, I was drinking in a pub in the town centre and one of the booze buses crew piled in, half went to bar other half piled into the toilets and quite openly where taking it

    I really didn't think it was such an big issue, consider me educated though. That said, I do think you could substitute the word cocaine with alcohol and get the same results.

    We went to Accrington early in the season, Pompey fans openly taking it in the pub outside the ground

    Though the way the question in the survey was worded, my answer was no

    The state some of our supporters get at both home and away matches I'd say it's part of the match day experience for quite a sizable minority and I've witnessed it at both home and away matches and both Wembley trips. Mostly in the toilets although why you'd want to spend money on anything to then snort it off a bog seat is beyond me.

    I gave up on this survey - way too long.

    Just another indication of EFL being out of touch. I just couldn’t carry on - too much!

    I had some coca tea the other week. Helps the blood process oxygen better at altitude. So presumably they should be concentrating on Oldham fans. Doubt their players have been taking it though.:rolleyes:

    Just as a post script. Coca tea isn't cocaine and is perfectly legal.

    I had to design a survey once, as part of a project I working on. The basic goal is balance. Too short, and you don't get the information you need, and too long and people won't complete it. It is not an easy task, and I feel most people tend to lean towards the latter, for ease.
