Worst Donny team since we started playing them again Even when we've beaten them recently they've always been a good football team. They're not any more. You've got to factor in that we didn't give them any space and played well, but even so they were poor. I think they're going to regret their choice of manager and the current transfer policy.
Re: Worst Donny team since we started playing them again the were bril under Penny and have got progressively worse over the years. Culminating in a this imsh mash of gypos most of whom dont really want to be there
Re: Worst Donny team since we started playing them again Personal opinion but I thought they were thugs under Dave Penney and that SO'D made them a cultured footballing side who never the less had an achilles heel of failing to create enough chances. Not been going since RR#2 left for Mancland but couldn't believe how poor they sounded on Dee Dah.
Re: Worst Donny team since we started playing them again under penny poor players gave 110 percent, thats the reason they always stuck it up us
Re: Worst Donny team since we started playing them again I guess we are stuck with spineless displays like today, let's face more than half the team looked like they didn't want to be there and that's because they don't. We were superb at Ipswich and may tonk Watford but our two worst performances were today and Leeds, the two us fans want a battling display from. I'm seriously down about our current plight, I had this down as one we had a good chance in (no disrespect but I think we stood more chance at Oakwell than we will at the KM). I thought Saunders was going to get his chin stroked at the end. Your youth team wouldn't have been beaten today.
I think we are going to need it mate Thanks, Just looked in on our forum and I reckon it's coming to blows on there tonight!! There's people that post who make your Rev fella come across like Stephen Hawking and there out in force tonight. Still, a little bit of fight wouldn't have gone amiss earlier.
Look on the bright side.... You've got a nice big flag. With Dean Saunders' face plastered all over it.
Lol! I've got to admit mate my beer will taste a little sweeter tonight, I suppose it's nice to have the bragging rights but to be honest its the much needed 3 pts that pleases me most,
Rovers are my second team ,i have watched them for years since the conference days. When The reds have been away.Iwill be at the Keepmoat next week,i will not give Blaster Bates 36 Quid.Under Penney there was a battling quality and also an ability to play good passing football using width.Under S O D the football was more cultured and a pleasure to watch for the most part.Though there was a tendency to overpass, and a lack of end product.Next week will be my second visit to watch rovers in the Saunders era.I hope its better than todays performance.
I have to say that I was gobsmacked when SOD was sacked and the change in policy made me think that Ryan, who although I thought he was a smarmy git, he always ran DRFC very well and publicised it well, had gone ga-ga. I'm not taking the pee but if Mr Diouf is the player on your team who puts the most effort in then you're screwed. It gives me no satisfaction if you go down, well not like the glory that was the Blunts demise last year at OUR hands... how sweet... in fact the day you 'did' the Leeds scum at wembley was one of my better memories ! Good luck, I'm sorry but you're going to need it. Dave i
