How the BBS works in my head.

There are a whole range of posters with a whole range of opinions.

There are those posters where you agree with everything they post (Dyson).

There are those posters you like so much you become a Facebook friend (BFC Dave).

There are those posters who you think you agree with everything and then their dirty royalist secret slips out (Mr C).

There are those posters who you look up to, and secretly hope will acknowledge you or ‘like’ your post, and when you do you get all star struck (Jay).

There are those posters who you reckon you agree with virtually everything except Keith Hill (MadMark and Redstar).

There are those posters who are nice to everyone and everybody, and remind us all of how we should all be (BigLil).

There are those posters you disagree with on every topic except for Keith Hill (decreasing by the second!).

There are those posters who disappear and then happily they appear back and you smile(Burgundy Red).

There are posters you disagree with on politics but have well thought out arguments which you enjoy reading (Red West).

There are those posters you completely disagree with on everything, do not like their views, and really should ignore as it gets you far too worked up.


I suppose my key point is, there are plenty of reasons to dislike people, but having differing opinions on football shouldn’t be one of them. Unless they are just doing it for attention. Then maybe you should.

It's been over an hour since you posted that and you still haven't been called a raving bumbardier. What's happening to this place? You wouldn't have got away with this type of thing a few years ago. Where's The Full Ponty when you need him? He'd soon bring us both back down to size. And rightly so.

You're one of the most affable, gracious contributors in the history of the BBS. Which goes a long way to explain the things you said about me.

The way I see is that I'm always right and at first I'm in a small minority until eventually everyone sees the light and it's only a small minority that disagree with me.

Yep. I've been far too accommodating of other people's views of late. Its alright, some of my best friends are royalists. At least they are friends for now. Wait til the revolution comes. Then we'll see what happens to them. You would have to make yourself useful by being the official artist of the coup d-etat.

 

Or maybe you're always wrong but the fickle cyclical nature of public opinion sometimes means you occasional appear to be right while still being inevitably wrong? Joking of course.
