tesco insurance has just sent me a renewal for my car insurance.
The Policy included my ex partner so I thought I'd ring them up and get her taken off to make it cheaper.
The previous policy renewal was £369 but now its gone up to £411.05. When asked the call centre monkey says that because women drivers are saferhaving her on my policy has made it cheaper?????
I'm 31 years old, never had a crash, and have 4 years no claims and its my ******* car!
Surely that is tantamount to sexism and should not be tolerated. I am now going to wnak off in the window of Wath tescos as a protest.
On the women are safer drivers thing. My cars over the years have onlybeen in 2 accidents whilst I have owned them. Both timesthe silly binti was porking was driving.

I've not gone off the old slags mate I'm not interested in your gaz.
His stubble would tickle me ******.

it is also something to do with men who live with their partners generally being safer drivers. insurance prices are all down to statistics. if people who have a partner make less claims than single people, they'll pay less. simple.
Well you can hardly blame her can you ???? porking her whilst she was driving. I know it'd put me off !!!
What I don't understand is on what occasions they're allowed to use stats to work premiums and where they aren't. For example - what if black people were found to be safer drivers than white people, or vice versa??
they would be unlikely to use that as a stat as you don't get asked for your ethnicity on your quote, so they have no idea.
Can you put her back on again Or any other woman for that matter - or do you have to prove you are an item or summatt
