After that dismal display i'm very surprised. Would love him to justify his selection, however.</p>

    COME ON TARN!

    What Archey said

Really really need 2 new strikers. Macken the only one we have who can remotely claim to be good enough for the championship

    We need a striker...

but on Radio Dee Dah before the game, Davey seemed content on giving Righters a chance.

    What else can he say

Can hardly come on and say - "Due to the Ward deal falling through we are so short of strikers I am having to play that clown Rigters up front" is he

    Agreed

But I think i'd rather him have taken a gamble with Jamil Adam. Chelsea drop Drogba after putting in an appalling performance - we keep Rigters in starting lineup.

    The alternative is Odejayi

It's like choosing between a bag of **** and a bucket of spunk.

    or started adam

who has looked better than the so called senior players in both the reserves and in his limited first team opportunities and friendlies.

It's about time those lot up front got a big wake up call from davey

    RE: or started adam

Odejayi and Rigters could look world beaters playing for the reserves and in friendlies! Adam's had probably less than 90mins total so how can you judge that? Oh because you reckon it can't be any worse...

except in the friendlies that I watched

odejayi did nothing apart from miss a one on one and get laughed at by the entire away stand (rotherham away), adam however looked lively and put himself about.

Macken up front on his own

You mite as well have played Davey up front on his own, no pace and drops too deep. Would just bring them onto us time after time
