Absolutely shocking both teams Going to have a field day next Sunday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Millwall rely on Morison flicking on to Gregory. Hopefully Roberts and Mawson can contain them. Agree with others that both these teams look like cloggers. But who knows in a one off game at Wembley. I would say if both teams play at their maximum we should win. But depends on the day. And the referee. Be a test for Conor and Brownhill in the centre. Physical side, sure they're up to it.
i agree they both looked poor tonight but maybe their similar style of hoofball cancelled each other out. we should be careful because both morrisson and gregory are a real threat, but we have more than enough goal threats ourselves and we dont just rely on 2 players like they do.
In fairness, Millwall had nothing to lose by playing a spoiling game to which Bradford had no obvious answer. Bradford's choice of route one with a bit of attempted passing down the wings was never going to ruffle the two centre backs and they had no plan B. If we keep the ball on the deck and play it into space behind their back four, we could break them down that way. Those two centre halves look a bit leaden-footed, so some neat passing down the middle could see us through. Bradford without Hanson to rough up the defenders looked lost. Very disappointing for their fans. Millwall could be a different prospect when attacking more. We need to control Morison for sure - how did he not get man of the match?
Millwall have already picked up on threads like this, so gi'oer. http://www.millwall.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=120177&posts=4 Different game, different day. Forum suggests we'll edge it, but not cut & dried either way.
Its a clean slate guys. I hate over confidence. We start again 11 x 11. We play on the top of our game and give our all thats all i ask for. Done brilliantly to get to this position. Anything can happen in a one off game.
Depends on the Referees IMO If they ref it how they see it and clamp down on their clogger's and don't let the likes of Morrison dictate to them we have a good chance IMO.
They're a very dogged team on a superb run. Real similarities with us at the moment in that they feel they have 'got their club back'. They also had a poor start to the season. We are going to have to be 100% at it and match them toe to toe on the physical side of things if we are to succeed. If we do that then our extra quality should see us through. We could do with a decent ref too - they seem to give a few penalties away and have had a few red cards. We will have to adapt our high pressing game because they seem to play long ball - the high press could be ineffective. If we don't have our feet on the ground and think this is going to be a walkover then they will beat us. However, I can't see that happening based on how we have performed and been set up over the last few months. You reds.
"Bring back Craig over Martin & get him to smash that United loanee Fletcher into the stands early doors. See how much he wants to help Barnsley go up or have a career with Man United!" They are parodies of themselves. Pathetic.
Absolutely hate over confidence, they are a good team, they finished higher than us so lets not get too cocky. If we turn up, I fancy us strongly and judging by those comments on their board, they seem to be quite concerned by us but anything can happen in a final, look at our first half display against Oxford, we could be out the game if the same happens. One thing I am looking forward to though is Roberts smashing Morison in the first 5 mins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
My personal view is us at our best will be too much for them. Doesn't always pan out that way though does it. Absolutely nothing to fear though. If we nullify Morison, they don't look like they have enough based on what I've seen Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
wonder how long it takes for him to swing at Roberts through frustration of not winning a single header against him
I just cant see how Morison and Gregory are gunna hurt us, they look the perfect match up for us. Roberts should win everything in the air and Mawson wont have any trouble with Gregory. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
$hit loada goals though. They obviously do summat right. I'm sure anyone watching winnall in the 2nd leg, would say exactly the same
Yeh but what I'm saying is that they seem two perfect players for Roberts and Mawson. Id fancy those two against any strike pairing in this league.
