    Where to start

This is nowhere near as straightforward as burning CD's.
Unfortunately most commercial DVD's are dual-layer (which hold up to 9GB of data) whereas most DVDR's are single layer (only 4.7GB). This means you need to shrink the content to fit.

There are many freeware solutions for this but they take a bit of getting your head round.

If I were you I would get the trial of CloneDVD here
    http://www.slysoft.com/en/download.html

For some copy protected titles you also need AnyDVD.

These cost money but are the closest you can get to "simple disc-to-disc" copying.

Get DVD Shrink to compress and remove encryption.

Yer can then burn the output files in Nero or summert else.

If you wish to use freeware

There are some good guides on this site:

This is an entirely objective recommendation and nothing to do with me being an administrator of said site (chinny)
